When you use MakePhysical, we collect the following information:
- Contact information: Email address, phone number, Telegram username
- Shipping information: Full name, address, city, state/province
- Design data: Project descriptions, design parameters, uploaded images
- Order data: Order history, quantities, pricing, status
- Usage data: Browser type, IP address (for rate limiting only)
2. How We Use Your Information
- Process and fulfill your orders
- Communicate order status updates via email and Telegram
- Generate AI-powered designs based on your descriptions
- Improve our service and design capabilities
- Prevent fraud and abuse
3. AI Processing
Your design descriptions and images are processed by Anthropic Claude AI to generate parametric enclosure designs. This data is sent to Anthropic's API servers for processing. Anthropic does not use your data for training purposes. For more information, see Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
4. Third-Party Services
We share your information with the following third-party services as necessary to fulfill your orders:
- Stripe: Payment processing. We do not store your credit card information. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- JLC3DP / Mohou: 3D printing manufacturers. We share your shipping address and STL files for fulfillment.
- Telegram: Order notifications (only if you provide your username).
- Anthropic: AI design generation (design descriptions and parameters).
- Google Analytics: Website usage analytics (page views, user interactions). Only loaded with your consent. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Microsoft Clarity: Session recording and heatmaps to improve user experience. Only loaded with your consent. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
- Tawk.to: Live chat support widget. Only loaded with your consent.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
6. Data Retention
We retain your order data for as long as necessary to fulfill our obligations and comply with legal requirements. Design data is retained to enable reorders and support requests. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:

8. Cookies and Analytics
We use localStorage to store your invite code and session preferences. With your consent, we use the following analytics services:
- Google Analytics (GA4): Collects anonymized page view and interaction data to help us understand how users navigate our site.
- Microsoft Clarity: Records anonymized session replays and generates heatmaps. Sensitive inputs (passwords, payment fields) are masked. Clarity may set cookies to identify returning sessions.
- Tawk.to: Live chat widget that may set cookies for chat session persistence.
These analytics tools are only loaded after you accept cookies via our consent banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage and refreshing the page. Stripe may also set cookies during the payment process.
